The parade minus expenses raised a whopping $12,524.05 for Food For Friends this year.

Attendance along the parade route was huge this year estimated at some 25,000 participants. Revenues were up at most GLBT businesses between 2% and 26% over last years spending for Easter Weekend. This makes the Easter holiday the fourth largest event in New Orleans GLBT community following Southern Decadence, Mardi Gras and Halloween. New Orleans is on the rebound following Katrina as one of the top destinations for GLBT travelers in the United States.

The parade is presented by Ambush Mag and Queen Fashions. Sponsorships included $1,000-Platinum, $500-Gold, $250-Silver and $100-Bronze.

Expenses for the parade totalled $3,541.05 which included: $1,050-police detail, $50.25-parade permit, $1,500-insurance, $570-Easter Grand Marshal carriages, $100-Drag Extravaganza DJ, $40-Easter Grand Marshal pins, $100-carriage company line-up fee, $43.60-Drag Extravaganza posters, $36.79-Purple Party posters, and $50.41 Parade posters.

Revenues for the parade totaled $16,065.10 which included $8,500-sponsorships, $1,711-Spring Fever Gala, $2,509-Drag Extravaganza, $3,110.10-Purple Party,  $135-parade entry fees and a post parade Bronze sponsorship of $100 from Charlie Hooper.
